About: ‘Way Home’ delves into the solitude and introspection that come with dusk, capturing a boy’s journey home as he navigates familiar surroundings that now feel strangely unfamiliar. This sense of disorientation mirrors the uncertainties of adolescence, where once-comforting places seem different, reflecting the inner journey of self-discovery. The song’s lyrics compare walking home alone to finding one’s way in life, blending fear and resilience as the boys’ search for direction and clarity. Set against the backdrop of COVID-19, ‘Way Home’ also resonates with the isolation and uncertainty felt by many, reinforcing the comfort found in companionship and shared experiences as memories and past connections help light the boys' journey home. As the Minisode 1’s reflective close, it encapsulates boys’ exploration of identity and growth, bringing their journey full circle as they step into a new chapter. [Please note that this is our interpretation of the song's meaning, based on the ongoing narrative of TXT's discography and insights from the members and official press releases. It's perfectly fine to have a different interpretation—after all, that's the beauty of music ♡]

Note: While this is not officially confirmed as part of TXT's fictional storyline/universe 'The Star Seekers,' it contains several references to it, leading many MOA to consider it connected.

LYRICS (translations by @translatingTXT)

I’m scared, it’s so strange

I'm somehow different from daytime

Looking back, an empty school

An unfamiliar scene in the setting sun

(Woah oh oh)

The shadow by my side grows

(Woah oh oh)

I can’t get used to it alone

(Woah oh oh)

The empty crossroads feel like a mirage somehow

Suddenly a cool breeze blows

Our song rings out in my ears

Reference to 'Magic Island': "Remember the song of our star?"

I step on the pedal to the top of the hill

To the evening sun I run, run

This night without a trace of starlight

Reference to 'Magic Island': "The starlight we saw the day / Don't forget that night / Don't forget this place"

The paths we previously walked are all lonely and regretful

Push harder, with all your strength

So that no monster can chase us anymore

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na, run run

At the end of the uphill road

Lies the beginning of the downhill

Looking back, neither a crossroad

Nor anything can be seen

I step on the pedal again

Go down the steep hill

This wind that grew stronger is whooshing by

The scenery is moving by so fast

The unspoken secrets and the worries left behind

The empty space where you were, all swept away by the breeze

Suddenly our names are called

Reference to 'Run Away': "Be my eternity / Please call my name"

Our song rings out in my ears

Instead of closing my eyes

Instead of being scared

I call you, run, run

This night without a trace of starlight

The paths we previously walked are all lonely and regretful

Push harder, use all your strength

So that no monster can chase us anymore

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na, run run

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na na na

Oh ah na, run run

Look up at the night sky thick with darkness

Our path is long without a single star to illuminate it

But when I call your name, the sleeping star will soon awaken

Reference to 'Nap of a Star'

Then, shine even brighter for me

This night without a trace of starlight

The paths we previously walked are all lonely and regretful

Press harder, use all your strength

So that no monster can chase us anymore

I make a wish upon the sky

That we would remember each other forever

Until we call each other’s name

We run together forever

Reference to 'Run Away': "At the end of the world / Forever together / Run away babe"

Helpful Context (Album Summary): ‘Minisode 1: Blue Hour’ by TXT captures a reflective moment in the boys’ journey, focusing on the transitional period between day and night. Serving as a bridge between ‘The Dream Chapter’ and ‘The Chaos Chapter,’ this album delves into feelings of uncertainty and nostalgia during the "blue hour," a metaphor for the confusing and bittersweet experiences of adolescence. The songs explore themes of friendship, change, and the passage of time, conveying a longing for the past while grappling with future uncertainties. Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, the boys navigate unprecedented challenges, adding depth to the narrative and highlighting the beauty and complexity of these fleeting moments as they face an uncertain future.

Helpful Context (Album Series Summary): In between each series of chapters in TXT's discography,  'minisodes' are released. Minisodes are not directly part of TXT's discography-driven storyline, but they act as interludes /transitions between each set of chapters.
