ABOUT/MEANING: “Force” is about finding the courage to keep moving towards a future that cannot yet be seen. There may be moments of faltering or becoming lost in a “labyrinth,” but the song emphasises that what happens next is partly determined by the choice to keep going. As dreamers and believers, they become their own “trigger,” pushing beyond uncertainty towards the dawn waiting ahead.
That strength grows through connection. An extraordinary encounter becomes a “force” that gives the narrator something worth protecting: a future shared with someone important. Rather than facing the unknown alone, the two can escape the labyrinth, reach beyond their present limits and continue forward together before they lose sight of each other.
CONTEXT: Written and composed by Motoki Ohmori of Mrs. GREEN APPLE, “Force” was created as the theme song for Season 2 of the anime World Trigger. TXT described it as a song that gives listeners the courage to join forces with their companions and leap towards tomorrow, noting that its message suited both World Trigger and TXT’s own concept.
LYRICS - ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Take it
We are dreamers
So it's the trigger
It's up to us
Beyond that is the dawn, dawn, dawn
Like a meteor,
Like a meadow,
A force within inevitability
An unprecedented, unparalleled encounter
A soft jewel powerfully touched deep into my eyes
Our tomorrow is a light yet unseen,
Sure, there are times we may falter,
But let’s escape this labyrinth,
We won’t stop
My heartbeat has arrived
Whoa, whoa
I want to protect our future together
Whoa, whoa (take it!)
(Fighter) Let's head to the other side now
(Try) It's possible if I'm with you
(Higher) Let's fly forward
Before I lose sight of it someday
Before I lose you
We are dreamers
So it's the trigger
It's up to us
Beyond that is the dawn, dawn, dawn
We are believers,
So it’s the trigger,
Come on, let’s go,
Beyond that is the dawn, dawn, dawn
Have you grown tired of me?
The memories of the past
Count only the good things
And the morning will eventually come
Deep within my eyes
I was drawn to those soft gemstones
Our tomorrow is a light yet unseen,
There are times we may falter,
But let’s escape this labyrinth,
We won’t stop
Something has moved my heart
Whoa, whoa
I want to protect our future together
Whoa, whoa (take it!)
(Fighter) Let's head to the other side now
(Try) It's possible if I'm with you
(Higher) Let's fly forward
Before I lose sight of it someday
Before I lose you
Ooh (oh, oh, oh)
Oh yeah,
Let’s break free
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah,
I won’t stop
Like a meteor,
Like a meadow,
It's a force
Surely, this chance will never come again
That's right this is it
(Filter) To the other side
(Storyteller) we’ll tell this tale one day
(It can't end just yet) Before I wake up from my dreams
My heartbeat has arrived
Whoa, whoa
I want to protect our future together
Whoa, whoa (take it!)
(Fighter) Let's head to the other side now
(Try) It's possible if I'm with you
(Higher) Let's fly forward
Before I lose sight of it someday
Before I lose you
(We won't stop)
We are dreamers
So it's the trigger
It's up to us
Beyond that is the dawn, dawn, dawn
We are believers,
So it’s the trigger,
Come on, let’s go,
Beyond that is the dawn, dawn, dawn
Dawn, dawn, dawn
