MINISODE 1: BLUE HOUR

OCTOBER 26 2020 | 3RD MINI ALBUM | TITLE TRACK: BLUE HOUR

'Minisode 1: Blue Hour’ captures a reflective moment in the boys’* journey, bridging 'The Dream Chapters' and 'The Chaos Chapters.' Centered around the “blue hour” - the transition between day and night - the album delves into feelings of uncertainty, disillusionment, and nostalgia. The blue hour serves as a metaphor for the bittersweet and confusing experiences of adolescence, marked by a desire to hold onto the fading light of day before the darkness of night fully sets in. As friendships wane and the world grows unfamiliar, the boys grapple with isolation and the fear of an uncertain future, desperately clinging to past memories. Influenced by the pandemic, the album also mirrors the collective emotional struggles brought on by isolation and confusion. Yet, amidst this uncertainty, they begin to find moments of clarity and growth, embracing the fleeting beauty of youth and the inevitable changes it brings.

[*Within TXT's discography-based narrative the 'boys/boy' can be interpreted as representing the TXT members, but they also serve as generalized protagonists used to convey the broader experiences of youth.]
