THE STAR CHAPTER: SANCTUARY

NOVEMEBER 4 2024 | 7TH MINI ALBUM | TITLE TRACK: OVER THE MOON

The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY marks a pivotal moment: the boys* finally reach the "tomorrow" envisioned in Minisode 3. Drawing inspiration from The Snow Queen, the album mirrors the journey of Kai and Gerda - two friends separated by time, numbness, and hardship - and reflects love’s healing power and emotional resilience. Where Minisode 3 captured the struggle of moving through present pain with hope for a reunion, SANCTUARY captures the long-awaited reunion: the return to warmth, memory, and connection. Love, once a desperate escape, now becomes a steady refuge - a sanctuary grounded in mutual belief and healing. No longer driven by fear of loss, the boys embrace connection as a constant. In rediscovering 'you'*, they also reclaim a part of themselves once left behind. Exploring love in its many forms and stages, SANCTUARY marks a shift from turmoil to peace. It shows that sanctuary isn’t found by running away - it’s found by choosing to stay, to feel, to remember, and to look toward the future. (For a deeper understanding of how this album draws inspiration from 'The Snow Queen', check out our in-depth breakdown of that connection here.)

*In the context of TXT’s discography, the term ‘boy’/‘boys’ are used to represent both the members themselves as well as serve as generalized protagonists embodying the universal experiences of youth. Similarly, ‘you’ is intentionally open-ended, allowing multiple interpretations of the relationship - whether platonic, romantic, fan-artist, or otherwise - inviting listeners to connect with the story in their own way.
