ABOUT/MEANING: “Nap of a star” closes The Dream Chapter: STAR with a quiet sense of longing, as the boy thinks of someone who is not currently beside him and wishes that their shared memories will not disappear. Looking towards the night sky offers comfort: beneath the stars, he can remember “you,” revisit the moments they shared and imagine remaining connected despite the distance between them. Yet that comfort is accompanied by vulnerability, particularly the fear that time might eventually cause those precious memories to fade.
The stars carry particular significance within The Dream Chapter: STAR, where they represent the dreams and hopes that guide the boys towards the future.
