ABOUT/MEANING: “Everlasting Shine” is about continuing to pursue your dreams through the contradictions and difficulties of life. Things will not always go as hoped, and moving forward can mean repeatedly confronting walls, exhaustion and moments of weakness. Rather than expecting an easy or predictable path, the song encourages turning tears into hope and continuing to step towards the future.
Its diamond imagery gives that perseverance a deeper meaning. Just as a diamond is polished before it shines, the experiences gathered along the way - including flaws, scars and weaknesses - become part of what makes a person shine. Instead of pretending to be unbroken or constantly searching for imperfections, the song encourages accepting those parts of yourself and connecting them to the future. “Everlasting shine” is therefore not perfection, but the light created by continuing to grow through everything life brings.
LYRICS - ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Over and over again
We’ll overcome this moment that lies before our eyes
Over and over again
Let’s turn these tears into hope
Step forward into a life painted in seven colors,
Shine everlastingly
You’ll shine like a diamond
Angels and demons intertwine
This world is full of contradictions
Things don’t always go as you wish,
But a dream that can be given up so easily is just too weak to be real
Over and over again
We’ll overcome this moment that lies before our eyes
Over and over again
Let’s turn these tears into hope
Step forward into a life painted in seven colors,
Shine everlastingly
You’ll shine like a diamond
Drifting through the waves of the city
Always searching for flaws
Pretending we’re not broken
Just doing these things is exhausting
Shall we go on a journey to find ourselves?
If we do that, life will surely be good, yeah
Don't lose, okay?
Those scares of yours are so precious
Over and over again
We’ll overcome this moment that lies before our eyes
Over and over again
Let’s turn these tears into hope
Step forward into a life painted in seven colors,
Shine everlastingly
You’ll shine like a diamond
Polish it - your diamond
Just like that, our days will always be shining
A predictable story is far too boring
Over and over again
We’ll break through the wall that lies before us
Over and over again
We'll connect our weakness to the future
Step forward into a life painted in seven colors,
Shine everlastingly
You’ll shine like a diamond
