ABOUT/MEANING: 'Fxxking Star' is Yeonjun's boldest expression of confidence, individuality, and ambition, presenting the fearless performer he strives to become. Drawing on the double meaning of "star" - both a celebrity who commands attention and a celestial body whose light is impossible to ignore - the song imagines a presence powerful enough to leave a lasting impact. Rather than chasing approval or proving himself better than anyone else, it reflects Yeonjun's belief in becoming "the only one, not the best one": someone defined by originality rather than comparison. Although the lyrics speak with complete certainty, Yeonjun has shared that he approached the song as motivation, embodying the confidence and stage presence he hopes to continue growing into. In that way, the song becomes both a declaration and an aspiration - a vision of the artist he is working toward becoming, driven by self-belief, ambition, and a determination to shine in his own way.

LYRICS - ENGLISH TRANSLATION (translations by @translatingTXT)

Yeah, what can I say? It's nice to be me

World stage, only time people see me, uh

Everywhere I go is awful scenic

And everywhere I pop out, presidential, yeah I need it

Poppin' off the tags, I'm a fucking star

Pull ups easy, you need to raise the bar

I'ma risk it all, askin' "What's too far?"

What's too far?

What's too far?

Yeah, I always knew that I'd be somebody

I never could relate to these nobodies

I know I'm the only one, there won't be another prodigy

CONTEXT: Yeonjun has often said that his motto when it comes to his artistry is to "be the only one, not the best one."

Ask me who I am and you know I'm gonna say

I'm a fucking star

Shine so bright I might burn you up

(Woah)

I'm a fucking star

Black leather pants and smash guitars

So don't fucking start

'Cause I could pull up right where you are

What

Say what?

Say what?

Say what?

I keep it 10 on my toes

Float in the butterfly doors

Kickin' and flippin' my flows

I got friends, I got fans, I got bands, I got foes

One whip take up two parking spaces

Spaceship countdown, take off, we made it

Took it to the sky from the basement

Now I live a different life

Yeah, I always knew that I'd be somebody

I never could relate to these nobodies

I know I'm the only one, there won't be another prodigy

Ask me who I am and you know I'm gonna say

I'm a fucking star

Shine so bright I might burn you up

I'm a fucking star

Black leather pants and smash guitars

So don't fucking start

'Cause I could pull up right where you are

What

Say what?

Say what?

Say what?

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine, you can't block it

You can't block my shine

Don't stand too close, I might, might burn you up

Like a thousand suns

Don't stand too close, shit, I might burn you up

I am the only one

Don't stand too close

Heat of a thousand suns

Don't stand too close

I am the only one

Helpful Context (Album Summary): Where 'NO LABELS: PART 01' challenged the labels placed upon Yeonjun, 'NO LABELS: PART 02' reveals the person who exists beyond them. Across six tracks, the album gradually moves from Yeonjun's interactions with others toward his relationship with himself, revealing how every connection and experience becomes part of the person he is still becoming. It embraces the contrasts within him: playfulness and restraint, vulnerability and self-possession, tenderness and ambition, the performer he projects and the person he is behind the spotlight - showing that these sides coexist rather than contradict. Rather than presenting a finished version of himself, the album captures Yeonjun in the ongoing process of understanding and accepting who he is, including the parts of himself he is still learning to embrace. What it ultimately proves is that self-definition was never about isolation: it is about choosing, on his own terms, what and who becomes part of his story.

Help Context (No Labels Series Summary): The 'NO LABELS' series is Yeonjun’s journey of breaking away from every expectation placed upon him and discovering himself beyond a single image. Rather than defining who he is through one concept, one personality, or one role, the series explores the many different versions of Yeonjun that coexist within him - the artist, the performer, the person, and everything in between. Together, both parts create the complete meaning of 'NO LABELS.' The series does not attempt to introduce one final definition of Yeonjun; instead, it proves that he cannot be captured by one adjective or one idea. His confidence and softness, his strength and sensitivity, his stage persona and his everyday self all exist simultaneously. The message is simple: Yeonjun is Yeonjun. His identity does not need to be explained through a label - it only needs to be experienced as it is.
