CONNECTION TO ORIGINAL: Yeonjun’s verse directly responds to KATSEYE’s original “Touch.” In the original version, this section begins with KATSEYE predicting that the person who ignored them will eventually return, apologise, promise not to do it again and offer another explanation. Yeonjun’s new verse replaces those lines and gives that absent person a voice - immediately returning with an apology and an explanation for why he has been “out of touch.” In effect, he playfully acts out the response KATSEYE had already anticipated.

REFERENCE: Riley and Sadness are characters from the Pixar film Inside Out, which personifies the emotions operating inside Riley’s mind. By saying he feels “like I’m Riley” while “Sadness keeps on taking over me,” Yeonjun jokingly casts himself as Riley with the emotion Sadness taking control.
